After the evaluation period ends, an error message will be displayed on the web user interface login screen. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- New Features and Enhancements ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * AccessPoint Virtual Passage, a SSL VPN client for Windows 2000 and XP. * Web based and syslog logging of SSL VPN events and errors. * Email alerts to the SSL VPN administrator for critical or emergency events. * Network Neighborhood file sharing now supports anonymous browsing, prompts for user and password authentication if single-sign-on password fails, and a new interface with improved navigation. * The network neighborhood file sharing library, libsmbclient 2.2.5, has been replaced with libsmbclient 3.0. * FTP rename option added to allow files to be renamed. * File transfers for FTP and network neighborhood now transmitted directly rather than a store and forward transfer to reduce memory requirements. * HTTP basic authentication support for HTTP and HTTPS proxy. Web sites that use HTTP basic authentication are now supported. * Enhanced JavaScript support for HTTP and HTTPS proxy. * Field validation for user interface input fields. * Upgrade option added to administrative user interface. The upgrade option allows users to upload new versions of the AccessPoint software through the web user interface. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolved Caveats ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * Network neighborhood browsing bug has been fixed. * MIME format encoding of FTP and network neighborhood file sharing downloads to allow users to open files immediately rather than first saving files to disk. * TCP Tunneling bug fixed. * WINS server issue fixed. * NTP server synchronization occurs independent of the difference between the configured time and the NTP server time. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Open Issues ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * Network utilities, including Ping, Traceroute and DNS resolution, were removed from this build until all issues with these utilities have been resolved.
