SENIOR SECURITY SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Department: Engineering
Location: Chennai, India
Job Description:
Senior software and cryptology specialist to design, develop, code, test and debug software.
Job Qualifications:Strong C, multi-threaded, client/server experience and expertise
Java and Perl experience highly desirable
In depth understanding of network security and the ability to design and write new/original software from the ground up
Extensive experience developing and implementing encryption and authentication algorithms used for security applications such as hashes, tries, and DFA based string searching
Knowledge of TCP/IP and the network security infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, IDS), and theoretical underpinnings of computer security
Operation and limitations of technologies used to ensure authorization, authentication
Familiarity with enterprise security concerns in a multi-platform environment
SSL/TLS, PKI, and AAA development experience also desired
Computer systems and Internet security issues.
Extracting security information from network monitoring tools/applications.
Algorithm development and algorithm optimization experience
Rapid prototyping skills and ability to rapidly develop code
Communication skills, teamwork, decision-making skills a must
MSCS or other related degree required; Ph.D. preferred
SENIOR EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Department: Engineering
Location: Chennai, India
Job Description:
Partner in a team environment that is able to independently design, develop, code, test and debug new software or make significant enhancements to existing software. Design and develop secure, scalable, and fault tolerant solutions for embedded hardware platforms.
Job Qualifications:Experience developing on Intel IXP, ARM, PowerPC 8260 and x86
network processors required.
Software development experience on Linux, embedded Linux
platforms like Jungo, Monta Vista, (preferably kernels 2.4.x,
2.6.x), VxWorks, Solaris and BSD.
Strong C, multi-threaded, Systems programing experience and
expertise
TCP/IP networking, kernel device driver, and boot loader
development required
Understanding of File Systems like ext3, NTFS, JFS required.
Solid technical background in Real Time Kernel extensions, High
Speed buffer Management and Hardware bus architecture is required.
Excellent communication skills needed
Time-management, decision-making skills a must
Security and SSL/TLS encryption expertise preferred
Java and Perl experience highly desirable
Proficiency in packages/tools like GCC, GLIBC, uClibc,
Berkley-DB, Binutils, CVS, Bash is a must.
5+ yrs extensive hands on software development
MSCS or other related degree required; Ph.D. preferred
