Performance Results with Various Hardware Specifications

UNDERSTAND WHAT HARDWARE YOU NEED TO GET THE PERFORMANCE YOU EXPECT.

Use the AccessPoint SSL VPN Performance table to gauge what hardware you will need to meet your company's throughput
requirements. The AccessPoint SSL VPN Software was tested on Menlo Logic's FireBase operating system. The operating system kernel was
optimized for fast TCP/IP and SSL throughput.
These tests were performed using 1000 byte packets in a live network and a standard SSL VPN network configuration.

The estimated number of users in the table is conservative; it
assumes that each user requires 500 Kbps of throughput.
If each user requires only 35 - 40 Kbps, then the number of users supported will be 10
times greater than the estimates shown above.
